About
lashes serum
A small independent editorial team in London that tests one category properly rather than a hundred badly.
lashes-serum.co.uk exists because this category is almost impossible to shop honestly. Lash serums are sold on before-and-after photographs with different lighting, on affiliate lists that reorder themselves according to commission, and on ingredient names written to sound like pharmacology. Prices run from £14 to £120 for products doing measurably different things, and the labelling rarely explains which is which.
So we do the boring version. We buy every product at retail, we recruit a panel that is not told what it is using, we photograph the same eyes under the same light for twelve weeks, and we publish the score sheet along with the result. When a formula contains a prostaglandin analogue, we say so on the card rather than in a footnote.
What we publish
- A ranking of ten serums sold in the UK, rebuilt after every panel.
- The method and the weightings behind every score.
- An ingredients guide written from INCI lists rather than marketing copy.
- The products we considered and left out, and why.
How it is funded
Some outbound links on this site earn a commission if you buy through them. That pays for the products, the photography and the panel. It does not buy a position: scores are finalised and signed off before any link is placed, no brand is told it is being tested, and nobody sees the ranking before you do.
Corrections
Prices move, formulas get reformulated and brands change their packaging. If something on this site is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will fix it and note the change on the page. The ranking carries the date of its last update at the top of every screen.
